Author Name :: Rungrat Charoenwisal || Wanchai Dhammasaccakarn || Kasetchai Laeheem
Country :: Thailand
Page Number :: 01-08
The purpose of this quantitative research was to study factors related to the happiness and sufficiency level of Songkhla people in the Southern part of Thailand. It was a second phase of a Mixed Method Research. 760 sampling from urban, peri-urban and rural area of Sonkhla people. Data wasobtained by the questionnaire that was generated from the qualitative research phase and analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Z-score, T-score, crosstab, Chi-Square, Phi & Cramer V, and Logistic Regression.
The result indicated that 17 factors in 6 groups(personal, natural resources, social, economic, information and technology approach factors) that related to the happiness and sufficiency level of Songkhla people significantly by Chi-square test and there were 3 factors from binary logistic test which included resources factor(land ownership) ; social factors(neighbors or community member‟s interaction); information and technology approach(Information and technology access channels)that impacted significantly at alpha 0.001.

Paper Title :: Towards Reducing the Difficulties of Students in Fractions: Instructional Practices and Theoretical Context
Author Name :: Evgenios Avgerinos || Roza Vlachou
Country :: Greece
Page Number :: 09-20
In spite of the fact that curriculum change and mathematical school texts adapt to new education needs, students, internationally, continue to have difficulties when handling fractions. The present paper aims to present education practices which within a period of five years were applied by the research team. Our proposals help to reduce the above student difficulties. These teaching practices take into account the results as stated by international bibliographies as well as years of research of our team on rational numbers. They emphasize on multiple representations, use of experiential activities and activities carried out on electronic platforms. Additionally, our proposals are based on methods to reduce the causes of these difficulties. Thus, we question prospective teachers’ beliefs on rational numbers, the structure and the context of Greek school textbooks, the curriculum and the instructional practices and approaches of various international researchers.

Paper Title :: Doctoral education, pedagogy and supervision in Science Education PhD
Author Name :: Isabel Ribau
Country :: Portugal
Page Number :: 21-27
Doctoral education is the higher level of education in the education systems. Associated with education comes the pedagogy that is implemented and the supervision process. In this research work, we start to study the pedagogy and the supervision practices that were perceived by doctoral students in a specific population - Science Education PhD. First, an exploratory survey was applied to PhD students that were participating in a national meeting of Science Education for young researchers. Secondly a similar survey was applied, but in another specific context –students enrolled in Science Education PhD at Nova Lisbon University (UNL). Some similarities were found: the pedagogy perceived by students and the evidence that students’ don´t monitor or evaluate the research process during the PhD. In addition, some differences were also verify not only in the supervision practices, but as well as in the supervisor engage in the PhD research process.

Paper Title :: La Delincuencia Juvenil Y El Deseo De Reconocimiento De Los Adolescentes Por Los Pares Sancionados
Author Name :: Sérgio Rodrigues de Souza
Country :: Portugal
Page Number :: 28-42
This essay addresses a topic that involves juvenile delinquency and how adolescent offenders behave when they are arrested and imprisoned. They look for ways to become recognized by their peers who are sanctioned at a later time, as this kind of recognition was made by de facto men. It is an essay, of a bibliographic nature, having as support an empirical research, of participant observation. The conclusions reached with this work, which is part of a postdoctoral thesis, in Social Psychology is that the adolescent's desire to be recognized by his sanctioned peers is a way of rehoming a space that was left empty at a certain point in time childhood.

The word to the griot is based on both what is well said and telling the truth. This makes him respectively an artist, an intellectual and a scholar of West African traditional societies. The griot’s truth principles are authoritative and the law. This also grants him the rights to the universal citizenship. As a matter of fact, his voice paves the way for the affirmation of cultural identities and the discovery of historical truth. The griot is, so to speak the patrimonial vector of societies without writing.
